Our History
Founded in 1972 in the basement of the First Baptist Church in Ossining, Open Door was first operated as a free clinic, staffed by nearly 100 local volunteers. Today, a professional staff numbering more than 140 deliver quality health care at our three sites of care in Port Chester, Sleepy Hollow, and Ossining; as well as in Mount Kisco at Northern Westchester Hospital's Family Health Practice.
