In addition, our providers all now provide – e-prescriptions.  This gives your prescription a head start.  The provider forwards a computer generated prescription directly to your designated pharmacy.  The e-prescription should arrive at your pharmacy even before you leave Open Door.  In addition, the fact that the prescription is legible improves your safety.  The pharmacist does not have to interpret the hand writing of your provider any longer.
