Open Door’s fifth benefit concert with David Crosby & Graham Nash was quite a success. Accompanied by Crosby’s son, James Raymond, on the keyboard, the legendary Rock and Roll Hall of Famers took the audience from Woodstock to the present.  This one-of-a-kind benefit concert co-chaired by Marlene Canapi and Michael Baker raised more than $400,000 and much needed awareness about the impact Open Door has in Westchester County.

The evening honorees included two of Westchester’s most influential people, Dr. Simeon Schwartz and David Swope. Dr. Schwartz founded WESTMED Medical Group, a 225-physician , premiere, multi-specialty practice that, like Open Door, is recognized by the National Committee on Quality Assurance as a Level 3 Patient-Centered Medical Home.David Swope founded Club Fit, a state-of-the-art “hub” of community wellness with resources for families, athletes and non-athletes alike. Together WESTMED, Club Fit and Open Door are improving Westchester’s public health.
